The systematization of experiences is a process that allows to learn from practice. For the construction of a society that values children and adolescents as the main resource for the future, the best way is to learn from the obstacles, challenges and difficulties and to be able to direct lessons in order to construct collective responses to these problems.

By this we believe that by systematizing, analyzing and socializing these training periods, it is useful for “us and others”. 

In the region multiple and different local experiences exist in favour of the child. These differences may be presented as much in the territorial and legal environment as in the political. These scenes vary according to the relationship between the national government, the decentralization process, legal frameworks and the incidence of having other authorities in management or experience. In order to develop this initiative, simple and agile formats of systematization were designed. And experiences were selected to have the following characteristics “that they are programmes, projects and/or policies implemented by actors from the public, private and social sector, and/or United Nations Agencies that are framed in the approach on rights, that act on the local scope and have established goals”.

Furthermore, that they have a certain level of formalization, social recognition, some mechanism of monitoring and evaluation, and that they are sustainable at that period in time.
